Brian Cantore led the Rams to their first victory over the Hand Tigers by pitching a
complete game.  Cantore struck out 10 batters and allowed only two earned runs.  
Leading the offense for the Rams was David Wright, who had a double driving in two
runs, and Kyle Jesensky, who had a big two out single which also brought in two.  
The JV team has evened out their record at 1-1.

Matt Jefferis pitched a complete game shutout for the Rams in their first home game
vs. Amity.  The Rams offense continued to stay hot as they put up 10 more runs on
their opponent for the second straight time.  The offense came out firing as they
scored nine of their ten runs in the first inning.  The first nine batters Amity faced
came across the plate. Leading the offense with two hits was Dom Severino.  
Severino drove in two big runs early on for the Rams and also crossed the plate
twice.  David Wright also doubled in a run.  Jefferis, however, was the star of the day
having thrown a full seven inning game while having seven strikeouts and only
allowing 4 hits.  The JV squad moves its record above .500, to a 2-1 mark.

Mike Hathaway continued the hot streak of Rams JV pitching, as he tossed 5 innings
of shut out baseball.  Hathaway only allowed one hit and struck out 3.  The Rams
scored four runs in the top the 7th inning to put away the Trojans.  Ryan Rougeot
starting the 7th inning off with a walk, followed by an excellent sacrifice bunt by Mike
Garguilo.  Tyler Robertson had a key single and with smart base running moved to
second on a throw heading towards home.  Greg Leonetti drove in both base
runners with a single.  Mike Marcucelli continued his hot hitting as he laced a double
in the gap, scoring Leonetti.  Mike Severino kept the inning going with a single,
followed by a Kyle Jesensky walk and a John Kubilus single which drove in the final
run of the inning for the Rams.  Leading the Ram offense was Marcucelli, who had a
double and a triple.  He drove in two runs and scored twice as well.  The Rams have
improved to a 3-1 record.
