Hawaii and Georgia Tech to Meet at 4:30 Saturday for Championship
Dan Flynn scored 21 points and pulled down 20 rebounds as Hawaii won their 10th straight game 59-38 over Arizona
State on Thursday night.  They will meet Georgia Tech, who upset top-seeded Air Force 47-40 behind the strong
inside play of Steve Sutherland (21 pts).  Tech will depend on the all-around play of Paul Tuscano and Chris Barney.
The Rainbow Warriors depend on strong defense and timely shooting from Nick Guarino, Sean Murphy, and Parker
Barnell.

Flynn Three Wins Championship for Hawaii in OT
Dan Flynn hit a long three pointer on a feed from Nick Guarino with 3 seconds left in overtime to lead Hawaii to the
George Welch Park & Rec Championship on Saturday at Cheshire High School 46-43.  Trailing by four with less than
a minute left in regulation, Guarino came up with a big steal and a basket and Flynn hit two free throws to tie the game
and send it into the extra session.  With time running down and Georgia Tech playing tough defense, Guarino dribbled
off a number of screens and found Flynn in front of his own bench.  He faked once then launched the game winning
shot.  A Paul Tuscano three at the buzzer was just long.  Flynn finished with 30 points while Guarino added 12 for the
Champs.  Steve Sutherland had 14 points and  Tuscano 9 for Tech.
