| Cheshire 3 Law 2 (25-22, 21-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-8) Cheshire girls' volleyball won a marathon match at Jonathan Law. Gina Buzzelli dished 31 assists while Emily Werth had eight digs. Breslyn Goodison, and Kelly Gunneson had 10 kills apiece with Gunneson adding 5 blocks. Kerry Chavoya (16) and Ashley Zane (11) paced the Rams in digs. . Cheshire is now 7-1 and will host Amity on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. |
| Cheshire 3 Mercy 2 (17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 11-15) Greg Lederer: Cheshire girls' volleyball ends eight-match win streak, 3-2 (17-25, 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 11-15), against Mercy. The Tigers are the only team to beat Cheshire (9-2). Kelly Gunneson (12), Madison Wage (10; four blocks), Emily Werth (nine), and Breslyn Goodison (eight) paced them in kills. Gina Buzzelli supplied 26 assist...s. Kerry Chavoya had 13 digs. Cheshire visits Sheehan on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. |
| Shelton 3 Cheshire 1 (25-19, 22-25, 19-25, 14-25) Cheshire girls' volleyball dropped a 3-1 loss to Shelton. Shelton (11-2, 5-1) and Cheshire (11-3,6-1) are the two top teams in the Housy. Emily Werth had 14 kills and six digs. Kelly Gunneson added 12 kills. Gina Buzzelli had an amazing 36 assists in the losing result. Ashia Wright added seven kills and four blocks. The Rams will return home to face Jonathan Law (11-2) on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. |

| Cheshire Blows Out Branford on Senior Night Greg Lederer Cheshire girls' volleyball (15-3) wrapped up the regular season with a sweep (25-17, 25-16, 25-13) of Branford (3-15) on Senior Night. Emily Werth fired 13 kills and six aces. Gina Buzzelli supplied 21 assists and five digs. Breslyn Goodison added four kills. Cheshire hosts an Southern Connecticut Conference quarterfinal on Tuesday. |
